Biocontainment Engineer for the Biosecurity Research Institute (BRI), KSU, a BSL3 research facility. The position includes providing hands-on coordination and implementation of daily facility maintenance operations at the BRI. The facility engineer is responsible for complex physical plant operations, utilities management, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, building management systems, plumbing and waste handling systems, electrical, refrigeration, and additional contracted services necessary to properly maintain the facility in exceptional working condition. Instructional Designer. This position will develop educational content and deliverables supporting the Biosecurity Research Institute and One Health Kansas educational missions with a focus on biosafety, biocontainment, biosecurity, select agents, and zoonotic diseases. The position will create materials for use in workshops, school visit programs, undergraduate and graduate courses. Accountant I. This position is responsible for processing payment documents to multiple vendors, travel reimbursement documents, interfund vouchers, and BPC's. This position will also be responsible for submitting invoices to clients. This position will develop financial spreadsheets, financial reports, and inventory reports. This position will be responsible for multiple accounts including state funds, foundation accounts, and grant funds.
